1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

1.1 Aletheos is committed to ensuring that its website and platform are accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities. We believe that digital accessibility is both a legal obligation and a matter of equal participation.

1.2 This Accessibility Statement is published in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 ("AODA") and Ontario Regulation 191/11 (Integrated Accessibility Standards). It applies to the Aletheos website ([https://aletheos.tech]) and the Aletheos web application dashboard.

2. Accessibility Standard

2.1 Target Standard. Aletheos is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA, as incorporated into Ontario's Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation.

2.2 Current Status. 2.3 Known accessibility gaps identified to date: See the separate Known Gaps report at accessibility-known-gaps.md for the current list of WCAG 2.0 Level AA findings as of the date of this Statement. That report is refreshed each time a new public page is added to the website and each time a WCAG audit is re-run.

2.4 We aim to remediate known issues within 12 months of this Statement's effective date and to achieve full WCAG 2.0 Level AA conformance on all public-facing pages and primary user workflows.


3. AODA Compliance Obligations

3.1 Customer Service. Aletheos provides accessible customer service in accordance with Ontario Regulation 429/07 (Accessibility Standards for Customer Service) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation. Customers may communicate with us by email or telephone. We will accommodate communication needs upon request.

3.2 Information and Communications. Aletheos will make new and significantly refreshed web content accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.0 Level AA. Upon request, we will provide information and communications in accessible formats or with communication supports, as described in section 4.

3.3 Employment. [LAWYER NOTE: If Aletheos employs staff in Ontario, AODA employment accessibility obligations apply — return of accessible formats, accommodation, etc. Insert relevant section if applicable.]

3.4 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan. [LAWYER NOTE: Ontario organizations with 20+ employees must have a multi-year accessibility plan. If Aletheos reaches this threshold, a formal plan must be created and posted. Include a placeholder commitment here.] Aletheos will develop and post a multi-year Accessibility Plan if and when Ontario employment thresholds require it. We will review and update the Plan at least every 5 years.


4. Alternative Formats and Communication Supports

4.1 You have the right to request accessible formats and communication supports for information on our website or in documents we provide.

4.4 Accessible formats available upon request include (where practicable): (a) Large print; (b) Plain language summaries; (c) Screen-reader-compatible versions of documents; (d) HTML versions of PDF documents.


5. Feedback Mechanism

5.1 We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our platform. If you experience an accessibility barrier, please let us know:

5.3 If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility feedback, you may file a complaint with the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario via the Ontario Human Rights Commission ([https://www.ohrc.on.ca]) or the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal.


6. Third-Party Content and Platforms

6.1 Our platform may include content, tools, or links from third parties (e.g., Stripe payment forms, embedded analytics). We do not control the accessibility of third-party content and cannot guarantee their WCAG 2.0 compliance. We will notify third-party providers of any reported accessibility issues in their components.


7. Review and Updates

7.1 Aletheos will review and update this Accessibility Statement at least annually, or after any significant change to the platform or its accessibility status.

7.2 Updates will be posted at [https://aletheos.tech/legal/accessibility].


8. Governing Law

8.1 This Accessibility Statement is published pursuant to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (Ontario) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (Ontario Regulation 191/11).

8.2 Governing Law: This Statement and any obligations arising from it are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

9. Company Size — AODA Applicability

Aletheos Technologies Inc. currently employs fewer than 50 people and therefore falls under the small-organization tier of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR, O. Reg. 191/11). Specifically:

Aletheos will re-evaluate AODA obligations if employee headcount reaches 50 or more, at which point additional obligations (multi-year accessibility plan, annual status reports, filed compliance reports every 3 years) apply.
